Objective: Eleanor Anukam is the owner and lead creative for Eleanor Anukam Footwear. The line fills a gap in the luxury footwear industry by offering larger that usual shoe sizes. Eleanor came to me looking for a logo re-design. Her original logo was a signature, but it didn’t communicate luxury or her clean, modern aesthetic. She also wanted a brand symbol.
Development & Results: Brand inspiration started with minimal fonts and angular shapes. For the logo, I used a thin sans serif font with a lot of white space. In creating the brand symbol, I combined the “E” and “A” from the name and created a linear jewel like shape. This symbol was the basis of a complementary geometric patterned printed on tissue paper. In addition to tissue and a shoebox, I also designed a foil print card that fits inside the brand's shoebox. The card has a place for the customer's name, creating a very personal experience.
